Warfighting platform for tactical data
Truenumbers (TN) is a secure, durable system that represents information in a form usable by military operations personnel, as well by system developers serving them. With our NIWC PAC PMW 150 sponsors, we’re proud to have demonstrated TN capabilities at Valiant Shield 2024, and Bold Quest 2024 exercises as part of the C2X experimental command and control system..
Tactical data isn’t given to warfighters
Strange but true. Warfighters on the watch-floor don’t get direct access to tactical data and couldn’t read it if they did. So it’s diverted to application silos, with user-interfaces that present their versions of reality. The 2020 DoD Data Strategy wants that to change:
A core tenet of the data strategy is the understanding that data is not an IT asset, but an essential and integral part of the mission itself.
There is really only one way to do that - put data in the language of the mission. Human language, not database schemas or service API’s. That’s how the web works, and TN works the same way for structured data, by using a structured natural language to represent it.
This makes everything easier for everyone. Users, developers and applications become peers, working on the same base of information. Applications become simpler, more flexible, interoperable and cheaper to build.

Military-grade technology
Truenumbers is simple and robust software technology, uniquely capable of information and process integration across warfighting operations to the edge. It can integrate real-time communication, sensor data, analytic results - any tactical data - in intelligible and actionable form from the operations center out to the tactical edge.
Ready for AI and machine learning
Truenumbers’ self-describing fact representation puts far more information in the computer than object or relational data can. Its scalability makes it ideal for big data to support artificial intelligence and machine learning because it is already curated, labeled data.
